China Field Trip-day 1

Hi everyone,
allow me to share my logs for the China Field trip I am taking with Brad Fallon, John Reese and about 40 other internet marketers. I am already running behind in my postings as travelling has taken a lot of my time.

I took off at 6:30 a.m. Montreal time after another night spent working at the delivery room. Ahead of me, I had three flights: first short one to Toronto, the 14 hours one to Bejing and then a 4 hours one to Gangzhou. Our goal on this trip is to go to the trade show and seek businness opportunities in importing Chinese goods.

The first flight went smoothly. I dreaded the 14 hours one. Upon settling on the plane, I asked the man sitting next to me if he could help me to write the name of the hotel I was going to in Chinese so I could get a cab once there....We never stopped talking since then!!!
I cannot write his name but this very helpful and resortful man was born in China and now lives in Toronto. He was going to visit his family.

The flight was surprisingly pleasant with zero turbulence, two hot meals, snack and plenty of fluid to drink (they even had free wine! something I hadn't seen in over 10 years).

The next pictures taken from the plane do not render justice to the beautiful pink and blue sky that welcomed us. We also passed over mountains of Siberian snow.

Upon arriving at the airport that's when the culture shock hit me: crowds of screaming and pushing people! China has a population problem and it shows. There is people everywhere.
We were greated by the future 2007 Olympic mascot.Cute!!

More later...

We have just launched a web page at http://www.thecoolhomepage.com . I need your opinion on what other "stuff" you would like to see on this page that would make it more popular.

P.S. I will be blogging a lot in the next days about my trip to China with John Reese http://www.marketingsecrets.com/newblog/and Brad Fallon http://www.myweddingfavors.com. This will be a trip where speaking three languages will be completely useless to me! Coooooooool!!

Internet Marketing: Jv alert part 2!

Since I forgot my camera (again) the pictures you see were generously provided by my friend Johnnie Siu (before me on the picture)
Simon Leung, ex-employee of Google and rising Internet Marketing Star showed us how to slap Google back!!
Rick Raddatz gave a great presentation and made us an offer that many people jumped on!
Since I don,t know how to post different pictures on different levels in the blogs, you will have to read upside down.LOL.

I highly recommend Jv alert (and there is usually three per year) because the friendly, family format provides a great background for Jving and masterminding.

See Ya!!

Internet Marketing : JV alert rocks!!

Hi!
I just want to share the Jv alert pictures that were taken at the recent seminar in San Diego.

First, San Diego is an awesome city with the marina on one side and the party city on the other side (we even saw a "wig party" where over 100 persons were walking in the streets with all kinds of cool wigs).

Internet Marketing: watch out for John Reese!!!

I have been awfully busy, returning from a medical mission in Mexico, jumping on a plane to attend Jv alert live in San Diego and preparing to go to China with Brad Fallon.

In the short intervals that I am home, I try to catch-up on the business but get called to deliver babies every night (I have delivered 6 in the last 48 hours).

You would think that with this kind of schedule and so little time to sleep, I would focus my energy and time on very crucial matters.

YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY WRONG!!!

I have been dragged by John Reese's new mystery contest and spent wwwwayyy too much time starring at the green blob he posted. http://www.marketingsecrets.com/newblog/.On the other hand, if you need a well deserved break, I guarantee you will have tremendous fun reading(and even listening!) to the posted answers. His subscribers are a bunch of very funny people. My favorite is definitely Aaron's audio post, I had abdominal pain from laughing yesterday.

Enjoy!

P.s. We always know that whatever John Reese touches, it is a sure winner.
P.P.S. John's email letter is one of the only two newsletter I am still subscribed to.
P.p.s. His dog's are the cuttest!!!

Internet marketing tutorial

I have a friend chiropractor who asked me to help him get his internet business going. He already has great sites up and needs guidance in profiting from his expertise.

Here is the first email I sent him (I changed his name for privacy reasons).

Hi Tom,
I hope you have been well and receive this email...

Please confirm that you are still interested in me helping you develop your Internet business.

The first and most important step is to determine what your niche is going to be:
In short what you want to offer and most probably profit from selling on the net.

It is highly recommended that you choose for starter something you are very family with and possess a certain knowledge and authority on.

My suggestions for you being a chiropractor is neck and back pain. You can choose something else if you are a master in karate or something.

Next, you want to find out if this will be a profitable niche by doing a search on the net. I am an unconditional fan of Google. For example you type in Google search: back pain and see on the upper right corner how many sites there is on that.

If there is millions of sites, this means that this market is good. Do not go jumping up and down if you see that there is only 84 sites on one of your search. This does not mean that you found a gold untapped market. 99.9% of the times, this means you have found a market that is not popular and will not generate decent income. Dr Mike Woo Ming always says if you search for "underwater basket weaving" you might be the only one but there is a reason for that!! LOL.

Just to show me that you are interested in participating in this "little improvised program", please send me an email telling me what your niche will be.

The next step will be for you to determine who your target market is: age, sex, income, interests, specifics, etc

See ya!

Nathie

P.S. Goals are dreams with a deadline, so you have until November 1st to tell me what you want your expertise to be on the net.
